Our History

Infinity was founded by a passionate and diverse group of local performers with a shared mission: to grow the color guard activity throughout Santa Barbara and its surrounding communities. With limited resources, our journey began humbly—rehearsing in a modest church room and even in parking lots. Despite these challenges, we proudly made our debut in WGASC’s Independent A division with just seven members, two of whom also served as directors.

Over the years, our membership has grown and fluctuated, and today we stand strong with 15 dedicated performers competing in WGASC’s Independent Senior A division. While resources remain limited, our commitment, creativity, and love for the activity continue to drive us forward.

Infinity’s instructional staff brings world-class experience, featuring alumni from prestigious ensembles including Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps, Madison Scouts, Santa Clara Vanguard, Diamante Winter Guard, Element Winter Guard, and Fantasia Winter Guard.

In 2019, Infinity’s production, Remember, was a deeply personal tribute to loved ones affected by dementia, including members of our own staff’s families.
